Sall & John Pre-Wedding Shoot

Had a great late morning Pre-Wedding photo shoot with Sall & John a few weeks ago in Richmond.

I provide Pre-Wedding photo shoots with all my wedding packages. It gives me a chance to discuss the Big Day with the couple and also to show them what I can do and how I shoot. We also talk about timings and specific photos they want on the day. What this Pre-Wedding shoot also does is relax the couple so that on the day they’re not worrying about me on the day.

Mimi also featured in the shoot. I was lucky enough to get some fantastic Baby pictures of her 6 months ago. You can see these here.

The reason Sall & John are in snowboarding gear is that they met in Chamonix whilst on the slopes. We thought it’d be a good theme for the shoot, but instead of mountains we had Richmond Park!

NEW website ( JonMoldPhotography.com ) coming September 2010

MuMu Photography is great as a site for Children and Families.

We are however expanding and doing more and more Weddings and Fashion photography. As a result the MuMu Photography website will be just a one page landing site directing you to our ALL NEW branded website: Jon Mold Photography.

Jon Mold Photography will show case all our photographic work:

  • Weddings
  • Portraits
  • Fashion
  • Families
  • Newborns and Children

MuMuPhotography.com will still be here, we’re not going anywhere. The site will just be dedicated to our Newborn and Children side of the business. However, you will be invited to click through to our new JonMoldPhotography.com site for information on sessions, prices, products and our amazing galleries.

We will announce our launch date closer to the time but its looking like the end of September.

Wedding Workshop with BHP

If you’re serious about your photography then you need to train, learn from the industries best.

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing this week. On Monday I got myself booked on another Brett Harkness course. This time it was a 1-day Wedding workshop. I did a 2-day course with Brett in June, see pictures here.

Thanks to Brett and Kristie for a great day training. Also to Gemma and Sophie for modelling. Laura from Love Miss Daisy for the clothes and finally Zan Atkinson for hair and make-up.

Below are a few images from the day, awesome!!!

Shelley & Kevin’s Wedding

I was lucky enough to assist Kim Hawkins again for a wonderful wedding in Suffolk.

The venue was held at Tuddenham Mill near Newmarket, it’s a converted Mill and is an amazing venue for a small wedding.

Kim spent the morning capturing Shelley and the Bridesmaids whilst I got a few of Kevin and his Ushers getting suited and booted.

The room for the ceremony was very cosy so I didn’t get any pictures in there but managed to get a few detailed ones of the wedding breakfast room.

For the formal shots we did a small loop around the grounds and captured some great shots just after the couple had married. They were so happy and chilled it was a pleasure.

I finished at 6 leaving Kim to get the rest of the evening shots of the speeches and the first dance.

I would like to thank Kim again for allowing me to assist another one of her wedding gigs. You can see of Kim’s work on her blog here.

Christina & Neil’s Wedding Walk

How could I say No to this wedding? Of course I said YES, I’ll do it!

Christina contacted me about a rather unusual wedding idea. Herself and Neil were to be married in the registry office on Castle Hill in Cambridge. The total number of people in the wedding party was 6 and they gave me 2 hours to capture their wedding day. Christina is a very creative woman, she designed and made both her wedding dress and her bridesmaids.

The couple were a photographers dream, Christina was up for anything… “Could you climb up that tree Christina?” “Yeah sure, how high?”

Neil on the other hand was so chilled and happy I couldn’t get a bad picture of him if I tried.

Anyway, a few pictures from the 2 hours spent walking round Cambridge are below.
